LOS ANGELES – Building off of the iconic transformation of Los Angeles International Airport’s (LAX) Tom Bradley International Terminal, Westfield today unveiled its design vision for the redevelopment of LAX’s Terminal 6 concessions, inspired by Los Angeles’ famed Sunset Boulevard. With its U.S. headquarters located in Los Angeles, the global developer is transforming the traveler experience through luxury retail, sophisticated dining, and world-class design at LAX’s Terminals 1, 2, 3, 6 and Tom Bradley International Terminal.
New children’s play area by Westfield showcases local scenery, innovative design
Surf’s up! Just in time for the holidays, a new children’s play area – dubbed “LAX Beach” – has opened in the new Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Designed by Westfield, the new play area is part of a world-class dining and retail collection by Westfield featuring over 60 new premier shops and restaurants – including 22 local L.A. brands – cutting-edge design and dazzling amenities. The terminal celebrated the start of flight operations and public opening this September, marking a major milestone in the multibillion dollar LAX modernization project.
Californians and international visitors alike can rejoice in the California-eclectic mix of gourmet comfort foods at Marmalade Café, now serving in Tom Bradley International Terminal’s Dining Terrace. Savor menu items like house made chicken enchiladas, roasted veggie & goat cheese lasagna and quinoa vegetable soup, or sandwiches featuring locally baked La Brea Bakery bread, washed down by a selection of California wines and craft and imported beers. Breakfast items include the spicy tortilla and chorizo scramble or the signature Marmalade burrito with smoked bacon, potatoes, scrambled eggs, jack & cheddar cheese, along with house-baked pastries. Marmalade Café is an airport first.
Bvlgari has been creating renowned fine jewelry since 1884. Today it is a global luxury brand and at the Tom Bradley shop travelers will find a collection of exquisite jewelry, fine timepieces, accessories and perfume with exceptional quality and innovative style. Located in Luxury Island, Bvlgari is 1,083-square-feet, a first at LAX and operated by Hudson.
Made-from-scratch cupcakes and delicious, dainty confections are now available in Tom Bradley with the debut of Vanilla Bake Shop. The shop – which hails from Santa Monica, is a favorite among those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth, and has been chosen as one of Martha Stewart’s favorite destinations for cupcakes and one of Los Angeles Magazine’s top bakeries. Located in the South Concourse, Vanilla Bake Shop is operated by HMS Host and is new to LAX – and a debut airport concept.

Conveniently located in the center of the Villaraigosa Pavilion in Westfield’s Luxury Island, the 979-square-foot boutique carries the designer’s signature classic bags, leather goods and ready-to-wear fashions.
